Student Organizations Advertising Club The Advertising Club's membership is composed of individuals interested in the field of Advertising. Each year the organization participates in business events, competitions, social activities, and community service. The goal is to help promote the Logistics program here at the University and help current Logistics majors with professional development. Marketing Club The Marketing Club is designed to provide students with opportunities to meet with Marketing professionals, and learn more about the field of Marketing through sponsoring events, such as the 5K run held in the Spring. The club also donates time to the Springfield community. In 2010 the Ad Team presented a research-based advertising campaign on "tween" seatbelt use to federal officials from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA.) The Ad Team also finished *first* in the 2008 American Public Transportation Association (APTA) "Go Green. Go Public." campaign. Their commercial was even featured during the Super Bowl!
