Congratulations AGAIN, MSU Ad Team!!

The MSU Ad Team, under the direction of Dr. Melissa Burnett, has won first place in the national advertising competition, Branding the Intelligence Community (IC). "We have a tremendous advertising and marketing program at MSU.  The opportunity to showcase our work among the country's top universities is a huge honor.  To win is thrilling.  To have students who are now more experienced, skilled, and marketable, that's always my objective" says Dr. Burnett.

As a direct result of that win, the MSU Ad Team has been charged with creating "....the FBI and Homeland Security site that promotes the agencies' National Security Internship (NSI) - one of the nation's most prestigious internship programs." This distinction is unprecedented and sets the Missouri State University Advertising Team above and beyond other colleges and universities that vie for the same national honors and awards.

CONGRATULATIONS 2008 MSU ADVERTISING TEAM ON WINNING 1ST PLACE IN THE AMERICAN PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION ASSOCIATION'S NATIONAL COMPETITION: "GO GREEN. GO PUBLIC"!!  In  fact, the APTA and the Environmental Protection Agency are running the MSU Ad Team's commercial nationwide!

We are very proud that the College of Business Administration is among the elite, top 12 percent of business programs in the United States to have achieved accreditation at all levels from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International), the most rigorous and prestigious business school accrediting body in the world. In fact, only 1.6% of all business school institutions in the world have received accreditation in both Business and Accounting. In addition, the Princeton Review has recognized us as one of the Best Business Schools. Our program is rigorous and practical. All of our majors have comprehensive course requirements which develop a well-rounded perspective of the functional areas within business. On the practical side, many students take outside internships while attending the University.

Our department graduates continue to accept excellent positions with professional companies, organizations and institutions, and an increasing number of our students are pursuing graduate degrees at Missouri State and other AACSB accredited programs. We have also had Marketing students accepted into major doctoral programs.
