MG Robertson

In 1994, the Military Science Department, in conjunction with Missouri State University, dedicated the new rappelling tower to the honor and memory of Major General Jarrett J. Robertson.   Major General Robertson was the Deputy Commanding General of V Corps and was tragically killed when his UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter crashed on February 23, 1993 as it attempted to land at Wiesbaden Army Airfield in Germany.

In ceremonies attended by his classmates including Lieutenant General John E. Miller, University President Dr. Kaiser and then Professor of Military Science, LTC Daniel Murphy, the University rendered a fitting and lasting tribute to a great American and Alum of Missouri State University Army ROTC.
