PROGRAM LENGTH: 45-51 HOURS (depending on language proficiency), including:
- 6 Hours in a FOREIGN LANGUAGE beyond the 12 hours required for B.A. degree
- 15 Hours of CORE REQUIREMENTS:
Every student must complete GBL 250 (Introduction to Global Studies and Globalization; F, S*) and four out of the following six courses:
• ANT 100 (World Cultures; F, S)
• SOC 150 (Introduction to Society; F, S)
• GRY 100 (World Regional Geography; F, S)
• PLS 232 (Introduction to International Relations, F, S)
• ECO 155 (Principles of Macroeconomics; F, S)
• REL 210 (Paths of World Religions)
- 15 Hours in one of three FOCUS AREAS:
• Language and Culture
• Business and Economics
• Politics, Society and Environmental Issues
- 15 Hours of REGIONAL STUDIES: One course in each of the following five regions:
• Africa
• Asia
• Europe
• Latin America and Caribbean
• Middle East
