Track options

Health studies

This track option allows you to explore health-related graduate degrees, or immediate employment in education, promotion, wellness, training and/or performance.

Pre-professional

Set yourself up for future graduate study in physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician assistant studies or chiropractic.

Careers and outcomes

As an exercise and movement science graduate, you’ll have opportunities to start your career in a wide range of fields, or continue your education at the graduate level.


Accreditation and certification

The exercise and movement science program is designed to comply with program accreditation criteria set by the Committee on Accreditation for the Exercise Sciences (COAES), and requires that each graduate become professionally certified by a national organization such as the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
