A graphic designer, photographer, software instructor and electronic prepress consultant, Steven Ross is a 1983 graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a bachelors degree in commercial art. He has worked in the photography, photofinishing, printing and graphic arts fields since graduating and has owned and operated SR Graphics, a graphic design, consulting, and Apple Macintosh support business since 2002. Steve has taught graphic design software classes for Missouri State University and Ozark Technical Community College since 2003 and delights in sharing the marvels of computer aided design with his students.
An avid outdoorsman, Steve enjoys backpacking, kayaking, bicycling and sailing, and plans frequent trips to National Parks and other wild places to practice his love of outdoor and wildlife photography. He is a longtime member of the Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield Foundation, and currently serves as president of this fundraising organization supporting the National Battlefield near Republic, MO. He designs most publications for the Foundation including a regular newsletter, and has created a number of publications, historical markers, signs and plaques for the National Park Service.
