Effective November 1, 2008, Prudential will provide long term care insurance for the University. Purchase of a long term care insurance policy is voluntary since employees pay 100% of the premiums for this insurance. Under the University's contract with Prudential, the following individuals are eligible to purchase a long term care insurance policy: employees, spouses of employees, retirees, spouses of retirees, surviving spouses of retirees, parents of employees, and parents-in-law of employees. Other information, e.g., enrollment instructions, premium calculator, etc. can be obtained by clicking the Prudential link to the left.
Open enrollment is available from September 15, 2008 through October 3, 2008.
In addition, Prudential representatives will be on-site in Plaster Student Union, Room 313, during the following times:
September 23, 2008 - 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM, 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM
September 24, 2008 - 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
