As outlined in the Missouri State University Nondiscrimination Policy Statement, the University maintains a grievance procedure incorporating due process available to any person who believes he or she has been discriminated against or harassed. An employee who brings a complaint of harassment or discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including sexual harassment), national origin, ancestry, age, disability or veteran status, or any basis not related to the applicable job related requirements for employees, shall have the right to utilize the grievance procedure delineated in Chapter 11 or to utilize the Office for Equity and Diversity Complaint Procedures. The Office for Equity and Diversity Complaint Procedures are available online at http://www.missouristate.edu/equity/ and published in the Affirmative Action Plan available in Meyer Library, the offices of the vice presidents, the Office of Human Resources and the Office for Equity and Diversity.
