Nicola Campbell

Nicola Campbell

Nicola Campbell is the senior manager of customer resources for Sysco Memphis (formerly Hardin’s Sysco). She currently manages a department of ten sales support staff responsible for business development, business review, graphic design, sales technologies, product specialists and marketing. She is also responsible for the company’s marketing as well as training. Nicola loves the challenge as each day is different and allows her creative freedom. She began her 13 year career in foodservice distribution with Sysco in 2001 as a marketing associate with a sales territory in Northwest Tennessee and then transferred to the Missouri Bootheel a year later. After her mentor and supervisor retired three years later, she was promoted to his position as district sales manager covering the tri-state area of the Missouri Bootheel, Northeast Arkansas and Northwest Tennessee. She managed eight marketing associates with annual sales of over $17 million. She held this position for approximately four and a half years.

Nicola graduated magna cum laude with honors from Missouri State University in 2001. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Restaurant Administration with a minor in Selling. After beginning her career in the lodging industry in September of that year, she was almost immediately laid off due to the horrendous tragedy of 9/11 which devastated the hospitality industry. This is when Nicola changed her career focus to the foodservice industry.

Nicola remains active in many professional organizations. In 2003, she joined the Kennett Business Women of Missouri and was an active member. She served as the fundraising chair, president-elect and president, and she was chosen as their Woman of the Year. Through Sysco, she was also introduced to the Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF), an organization promoting the advancement of women in the foodservice industry. Through WFF she has developed her leadership skills, built connections and improved her competencies. She recently served as a volunteer on the Annual Leadership Development Committee and plans to do so again this year. Personally, Nicola enjoys volunteering for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. It’s a very fulfilling volunteer opportunity that she would recommend to anyone.

Dennis Easterla

Dennis Easterla is the national sales manager for the Salvajor Company, 70 year old privately held manufacturer of commercial food waste disposing systems based in Kansas City, Missouri. Mr. Easterla’s career in foodservice equipment spans over 20 years holding positions as an independent manufacturer’s representative, territory sales manager, regional sales manager, vice president of regional sales and national sales manager. Prior to joining Salvajor in January 2014, he was the vice president of regional sales for Carter-Hoffmann, LLC (a Middleby Company) where he directed all sales and marketing activities for a 13 state region spanning from the Canadian border to the Gulf of Mexico. He is a native Missourian who makes his home in Lee’s Summit, Missouri where he lives with his wife Amy of 18 years and two daughters: Madison (16) and Holland (12). Mr. Easterla received his B.S. in Hospitality and Restaurant Administration from Missouri State University (formerly Southwest Missouri State University) in 1993.
