In addition to the university-wide organizations and fraternities available to Hospitality and Restaurant Administration students, there are two hospitality-focused groups that are open exclusively to majors in our program.
HLOT - Hospitality Leaders of Tomorrow is a social/networking organization. Planned activities provide opportunities for students to come together for social or educational events. Trips have been taken to St. Louis and Kansas City to tour restaurants and hotels and attend sporting events.
Eta Sigma Delta - An international Hospitality Management Society, ESD is open to HRA students who demonstrate superior academic standing and who are recommended by the faculty of the HRA department. This is a prestigious group that represents the top students in hospitality programs around the world. A group of ESD members go to New York City for the International Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Show each fall.
