Ms. Karen Callahan is the Academic Advisor for the Hospitality and Restaurant Administration department at Missouri State University.  Ms. Callahan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Columbia College and a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Missouri State University.  She became a master Advisor at Missouri State University in 2000.  Some of Karen's duties include advising and counseling all of the Hospitality majors, recruiting and visiting prospective students at high schools and junior colleges, organizing and facilitating the Recruiter's Fair, coordinating scholarships, and nurturing relationships with prospective employers.  Ms. Callahan is a member of the National Academic Advisor Association, Missouri Academic Advisor Association, American Hotel and Lodging Association, Missouri Restaurant Association, International Graphoanalysis Society, and American Psychological Association.
