Missouri State University

Scholarships and Fellowships

Students in the Honors College compete for many outstanding scholarships and fellowships offered by the university and national organizations.  While there is no one scholarship or fellowship specifically tied to the Honors College, we promote and provide professional advisement for interested students.  Missouri State, year after year, continues to award deserving achievement with remarkable education at an affordable value.

Future Students

Most Honors College members receive a freshman scholarship.  For instance, if you qualify for the Honors College and you apply to the University by March 1 of your senior year, you’re guaranteed to receive at least the Academic Scholarship.  Any incoming freshman who has received the Board of Governors or Presidential Scholarship is already qualified for invitation to the Honors College.  In fact, these recipients make up a majority of the program.  Learn more about Missouri State’s freshman scholarships.

Current Students

Honors College students are encouraged to apply for national scholarships, fellowships, internships, and assistantships to reward their academic excellence.  By pursuing these outlets, students can further their educational experience and better prepare themselves for the challenging work of graduate school or the work force.  Along with exploring your individual departmental scholarships, check out our fellowships webpage full of over 40 graduate and undergraduate opportunities!
