2005 HLC Self-Study Steering Committee
Review of August 04, 2005 Meeting

Members present: John Catau, Bill Cheek, Tom Dicke, Sue George, Martha Kirker, Vic Matthews, Pete Richardson, Don Simpson, Barbara Bushman, Jim Baker, Frank Einhellig, and Tammy Jahnke.

The steering committee met at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, August 4th at the ADC Office.

Specific readers were assigned to review chapters for appropriate references to the criteria and core components – Bill (Chapter 3), Vic (Chapter 4), Tom (Chapter 5), Sue (Chapter 6).

Futures Committee and other committees and councils named by President Nietzel will be referenced in the self-study. Most references to these will be in Chapter 6.

The site team chair has made contact with Bill. Arrangements are being coordinated for the site visit. Bill will be asking specific preferences of the team and team chair in preparation of the November 7-9 site visit.

The complete draft is available for the committee to review and make comments upon. Bill asked members to keep three main questions in mind as they continue to review the draft:
