2005 HLC Self-Study Steering Committee
Review of March 24, 2005 Meeting

Members Present: Barbara Bushman, Bill Cheek, Tom Dicke, Sue George, Tammy Jahnke, Martha Kirker, Etta Madden, Victor Matthews, Pete Richardson, and GA Linda Rogers.

The steering committee met at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, March 24th at the ADC Office.

Bill announced that the HLC contacted the president’s office with a list of proposed team members. We will know composition after the HLC office has confirmed team membership.

Linda prepared CDs containing all responses from committees, offices, and academic units. The CDs were distributed to those present and are available at the ADC for those unable to attend today’s meeting.

Etta has received some input on the draft response to the 1995 concerns and will be incorporating this into the response. Anyone having further input or suggestions should please send them to Etta ASAP.

The members present then broke into their respective subcommittees to resume work on assembling evidence for the various themes. Bill again reiterated that members should err on the side of too much inclusion and/or duplication, and that the full committee and writing committee will narrow down the selections at a later point. The target date for completion of the subcommittees’ work is April 14^th.

The committee will meet again on Thursday, March 31 at 9:30 a.m. in the ADC.
