A minor in family and consumer sciences blends well with many majors from business to the humanities and may assist you in a career in a test kitchen, utility company, community service organization or a variety of other settings. You may also consider this option in order to enrich your personal life and skill set.

Within the minor of family and consumer sciences, you may choose to minor with a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science in Education. The Bachelor of Arts minor is a 15-hour program, while the Bachelor of Science in Education is a 24-hour program.
