All candidates for any baccalaureate degree at Missouri State University must meet the folling credits and grade point average requirements.
1. completed a total of 125 semester hours of credit
2. complete 40 hours in upper division work (courses numbered 300 or above)
3. maintain at least a 2.00 grade point average on all course work
Students must apply for admission to a baccalaureate degree program before completing 60 credit hours of study. Every student must complete the following Required General Education courses (11-20 hours) before applying to a degree program.
1. Introduction to University Life: IDS 110 or UHC 110
2. Computers for Learning: CIS/CSC 101 or CSC 111
3. Public Speaking: COM 1115
4. Writing I: ENG 110
5. A Writing II course
6. Mathematics course numbered 130 or higher
7. Health and Well-being: PED 100
