Family and Consumer Sciences Education (FCS) graduates are in high demand statewide and nationally. This trend should continue as FCS teachers across Missouri reach retirement. With the Family and Consumer Sciences core curriculum and extensive education classes, students become certified to teach B-grade 12. In addition to the course work, students gain experience through service learning experiences, clinical practicums, and 16 weeks of supervised teaching in a cooperating school.
