9/11 Remembrance Events: The Tenth Anniversary

Organizations throughout the University are sponsoring events to remember the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001.

Visual commemorations will be on display:

  • Poster display in the Plaster Student Union Remembrance Lounge
  • Flags will line the street in front of Kentwood Hall, which will be displaying “Remember 9-11” along with the number of lives lost

Other remembrance events include:

  • The playing of TAPS on the Carrington Hall steps Sept. 11 at noon
  • The “Reconciliation and Remembering 9/11” carillon concert Sept. 11 at 8 p.m. at the Jane A. Meyer Carillon
  • The 9-11 and its Impact on First Responders panel discussion Sept. 12 at noon in the Plaster Student Union, Room 315
