The following software is used on campus. Faculty should download and install the software to their office computers prior to meeting for training. Software will be installed in the classroom indicated on the Clicker Adoption Form prior to the beginning of the semester.

TurningPointTurn PowerPoint slides into dynamic interactive polling presentations. Author and poll natively in Microsoft PowerPoint. NOTE: TurningPoint 2008 software is only compatible with Mac Office 2004. Unfortunately with the release of Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac, Microsoft made the decision to remove support for Visual Basic, and Turning Technologies was unable to directly integrate TurningPoint into Mac Office 2008. Turning Technologies has shifted Mac development to TurningPoint AnyWhere. A workaround for using TurningPoint on a Mac is to install Windows and Microsoft Office on a virtual installation, either through VMWare Fusion or Parallels. Contact your college's computer support staff for setup assistance. |
