FCTL- GA/TA Mentoring Sessions

Description:  FCTL would provide mentoring sessions for GA/TA's using Teaching Tips by W. McKeachie . Each participant will receive a free 12th edition of McKeachie’s book. Session participants will read selected sections of McKeachie and discuss the readings as well as spend time on troubleshooting. A certificate for participation will be awarded that can be used to strengthen your CV, or either Ph.D. studies, or for immediate college teaching here or elsewhere.
Graduate Assistants and Teaching Assistants are cordially invited to join

All brown bag sessions meet in Meyer Library Room 204. Mentoring sessions are carried out under two categories

• Social Sciences- Monday, Tuesday - 12:05 to 12:50 pm
• Sciences- Wednesday 2:15 to 3:15 pm

 

FCTL - The Teaching Professor Topic Discussions

Description: Dr. Jim Moyer, Provost Fellow for Teaching and Learning, will facilitate these monthly discussions with faculty members covering the variety of topics presented in The Teaching Professor online newsletter. Everybody is welcome to join! Sign up for the free site licensed Group Online Subscription (GOS) newsletter. Sessions begining on Thursday, September 17, October 8, November 19 in the Meyer Library room 204, from 12:05 p.m. to 12:50 p.m.
