Grants Resource Center – Council of Undergraduate Research

In February 2010, Belinda McCarthy, Provost, Pawan Kahol, Associate Dean of CNAS, Roger Sell, Director of Research and Evaluation, Institute for School Improvement, Rachelle Darabi, Associate Provost for Student Development and Public Affairs, Chantal Levesque-Bristol, Director, Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning and Associate Professor of Psychology, and Elizabeth Federman, Visiting Professor in the Department of Nursing, traveled to Washington DC to attend the GRC – CUR conference.  We had the opportunity to meet grant officers from several funding agencies including NIH, NSF, FIPSE, and NEH.

This page has been created to share the knowledge we obtained while at the conference, inform you of the  many opportunities from these various agencies as well as provide you with tips on how to put together a successful proposal.   We will keep updating this page as we gather more information and continue to reflect on what we learned at the conference.  In the near future, we plan to offer workshops based on the presentations we heard at the conference.  If you see something of interest and would like to learn more or would be interested in a workshop on that topic, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
