The University's New Employee Orientation Program is designed to provide new faculty with valuable information regarding the University's mission, benefits programs, policies, and the University community as a whole.  There are several administrative processes that new faculty will need to complete during their new hire orientation process. The University's New Employee Orientation is divided into these major areas:

  • Human Resources New Employee Orientation: Attending an in person orientation session on August 10th or August 17th (please register for one – Faculty who register for the August 10th date will need to return on August 17 at 4:00 p.m. to attend New Faculty Retirement Plan Orientation - CURP in PSU 313.)
  • Regulatory Compliance Training: All new employees are required to complete their online compliance training within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Emergency Response Plan and Safety Training: Missouri State University is committed to supporting the welfare of its students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Training topics and resources are available to new faculty online and in classroom settings.
