Here is some information on our recent graduates. We know that this is incomplete, so please help us complete it by sending us recent information about your activities.
Ashlie Blanzy graduated in 2008. She continues to look for the right job. She is contemplating moving back to Springfield and obtaining an MBA degree from MSU with emphasis on risk management. Her goal is to take classes that would get her close to obtaining a concentration in actuarial science since that is a direction she is considering pursuing.
Preston Kyle Harmon known mainly as Kyle, graduated in December 2007. Kyle has been working at a law firm in the Springfield area. He is currently in the process of transitioning to law school at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He will be starting in fall of 2009.
Mariesa Karner-Ho graduated in December 2008. She is currently going to graduate school at MSU getting a Master’s from the Political Science Department.
Sam Adkins graduated in 2007. He worked in New York for a few months and then moved back to the Springfield area, where he is working.
Chrisy Lam graduated in 2007. She works for Edward Jones in St. Louis, MO in their Rotation and Development program. We get to see Chrisy every once in a while when she comes to MSU to recruit students for her firm.
Nicole Harrison graduated in 2007. She moved with her new husband to Colorado. She plans on going to graduate school in the near future.
Vivian Kelly also known as Viv, graduated in 2007. She lives and works in the Springfield area. She is gearing up for a new addition (another baby) to her family in June. Viv also has a three-year old daughter named Catie who will be starting pre-school in August 2009. Viv plans on returning to school but not until her kids are in school.
Corey Wielert graduated in 2007. He is currently going to Law School at University of Missouri in Kansas City, MO. He plans on spending his summer of 2009 in Beijing, China.
Ryan Graves graduated in 2007. He is working in the Springfield area and taking some graduate classes at MSU.
Seth McDairmant graduated in 2007. While at MSU he was an intern for the City of Springfield. Currently he works as the director of economic development for Taney County.
Daniel Mayer graduated in 2007. He works for the Federal Reserve Bank.
Zach Pierce graduated in 2007. He continues to live in the Springfield area working as a 911 dispatcher.
Wendy Usrey – Wendy graduated in 2007. She lives in the Nixa area and manages her own real estate company. She continues to take graduate classes at MSU.
