This scholarship was founded by Professor Dale Wasson, who served on the economics faculty at Missouri State from 1969 until his retirement in 2005. Wasson also served as Head of the Economics Department from 2001-2005. This award is reserved for a student who is enrolled in sufficient hours to graduate during the semester in which the award is received.
• Amount of Scholarship: $1,000 (spring semester).
• Eligibility:
Economics major enrolled in sufficient hours to graduate in the semester in which the award is received.
A GPA of at least 3.00 and a GPA of at least 3.25 in economics courses.
• Applications must be submitted to the Economics Department secretary (Strong 351) no later than Wednesday, March 4, 2009.
