Results from the April 2010 dietetic internship match (CADE Connection 2010 online newsletter)
Data from the April 2010 dietetic internship match indicate a 50% match rate for the second year in a row. The number of available internship positions increased by 72 over the April 2009 match; however, the number of students applying for positions also increased by 83, negating the impact of the new positions. The number of positions would need to have increased by 84% or 1902 positions in order for all students who were seeking a position to have been matched. Graduation from an accredited program does not guarantee acceptance into an internship.
