Student Dietetic Association

The purpose of the Missouri State Student Dietetic Association is to foster camaraderie among students upholding interests in dietetic, nutritional, and wellness issues. Association members participate in a wide variety of social and community events throughout the year. In addition, members attend seminars, clinics, and conferences at the local, state, and national levels. Regularly-scheduled meetings are enhanced by presentations from area professionals on such topics as stress management, time management, wellness, food preparation, various careers in dietetics and nutrition, dietetic internship issues, and preparation for the Registered Dietitian's licensure examination.

Regular monthly meetings are held and a number of activities are also planned each month.  These are routinely announced through emails to dietetics majors and nutrition minors and posted in the Professional Building.  On the 4th Floor of the Professional Building, there is a bulleting board for SDA which has postings for meetings and upcoming events.  You may also contact any of the officers for more information.  Dues are $20 for the year.
