Audio/Visual Technology at the Plaster Student Union

 
The Plaster Student Union provides both built-in and mobile sound systems for use in our meeting and event rooms.  In addition, a staff of experienced technicians is available to provide support during your event. 

 
Our theater has built in sound with a 20-channel sound board, drop down mechanized screens, a house lighting system with dimmers and theatrical stage lighting. The theater has a built-in projection system with a 5000 lumens video projector with VHS, DVD, cable TV and computer inputs. 

 
The Parliamentary Room has a built in video projector with cable TV and VHS inputs and a drop down screen.  A sound system is available in this space which easily allows for recording conference proceedings.

 
Sound packages available for our Ballrooms and meeting rooms include:

• Lecturer’s Package - Amplification for up to 150 people; floor podium with microphone; 1-2 corded microphones
• Entertainment Package - Amplification suitable for groups of 150 – 800; 1-8 corded microphones, CD Player
• Music Package - Amplification for up to 800 people; up to 10 corded microphones, up to 4 monitor speakers.
