Hammons House is one of the newest residence halls on campus. The eight-story residence hall houses 584 guests in suite-style rooms. Each suite includes one or two double occupancy bedrooms, a private bath, and a kitchenette. Bedrooms include two bunkable beds, desks and chairs, bookshelves, wardrobes, a chest of drawers, and an under-bed storage unit. The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, sink, cabinets, and a dinette set. All suites are carpeted.
Hammons House’s first floor contains a lounge area, Boomers, and the Etc. convenience store. Hammons House is connected to its twin residence hall, Hutchens House, via the Garst Dining Center. Garst Dining Center is used for new student orientation during the summer, but it may be available through arrangements with Conference Services. Hammons House accommodations are available for adult-only conference groups.
