You must submit an Intent To Graduate form in order for your records to be reviewed for eligibility for graduation, for your diploma to be ordered, and for your name to be printed in the commencement program. You must apply by Friday, March 27, 2009 if you wish for your name to appear in the printed program. For information on how to verify that your Intent to Graduate has been received, visit the Commencement website at www.missouristate.edu/commencement.
You can complete the Intent to Graduate:
Go to My Information and look at a current degree audit after you register for your final semester classes. Look for any deficiencies and incomplete grades. If you have a question about your audit, see your advisor or come by the Office of the Registrar in Carrington 320 for assistance.
This exam is required for all graduating seniors and you will not be cleared to graduate unless you take it. You can sign up for the exam online at the Center for Assessment and Institutional Support website at www.missouristate.edu/assessment/examdesc.html. Fall 2008 session sign-up is now available. Spring 2009 sign up will be available in late January 2009.

There will be three ceremonies and division is by college of major (program of study). If you are unsure of your college, check the list of colleges and departments.
Masters and Specialists degree candidates will march with the college of their major (program of study.)
Education majors will march with the college of their major. Please see the following examples:
Business Education majors would walk with the College of Business Administration.
Music Education majors would walk with the College of Arts and Letters since Music is a department within the College of Arts and Letters.
Physical Education majors would walk with the College of Health and Human Services since Health, Physical Education, and Recreation is a department within the College of Health and Human Services.
Child and Family Development, Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle School, and Special Education majors are in the College of Education. Secondary education majors do not walk as part of the College of Education.
