Discussion

·         The Tenure and Promotion process was addressed. Dr. Matthews stated that he needs to see each tenure track faculty member teach each of their classes at least one time. He asked that they give him two or three possible dates and he will schedule accordingly.

·         Dr. Matthews asked the Department Heads for any suggested changes to his earlier e-mailed Evaluation of Department Heads form and reemphasized that “productivity” includes the sum total of faculty expectations. He announced at this time that Dr. Sailors’ article, “Wicked Feminism,” has been published.

The hiring process was addressed with each Department Head involved giving updates.
