Discussion

•    Dr. Frank Einhellig was invited to discuss possible strategies for graduate recruitment and enrollment management.  He distributed a handout of the enrollment picture and answered questions from the group.

•    Public Affairs Mission in the Curriculum.  The Department Heads discussed ways to bring faculty into the conversation on how the Public Affairs mission is reflected in the curriculum and the major and seek their input on possible methods of producing competency-based learning outcomes.

•    Dr. Matthews and the Department Heads next discussed possible revisions to CHPA departmental compensation documents.  Department Heads were invited to address comparability issues in the department plans, prior to the meeting with the CHPA Compensation Committee on September 5.
