Missouri State University and Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (LU), located in Shenyang, have entered into a three-year agreement to allow collaboration in the development of joint degree programs in nursing, physical therapy, and other health care related areas. One outcome of this agreement is the cooperative research project between LU and Dr. Paul Durham in the Missouri State University Biology Department examining the chemical characteristics of a number of herbs and chemical compounds used in traditional Chinese medicine.
