The College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) offers nationally accredited programs, many of which are competitive entry. Prospective students who are accepted into the following competitive CHHS programs are required to pay a non-refundable confirmation deposit to hold their place in the program. This deposit is to be paid within the time frame stipulated in the program's acceptance letter.
- Doctor in Audiology (Au.D.) - $500
- Dietetic Internship Certificate Graduate Program - $500
- Nurse Anesthesia - $500
- Doctor in Nurse Practice (BSN to DNP and Post-Master's DNP) - $500
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (4-year BSN) - $100
- Doctor in Physical Therapy (DPT) - $500
- Physician Assistant - $500
Note: Admission into Missouri State University and/or the Graduate College does not guarantee acceptance into the desired program.
The confirmation deposit will be applied to tuition, fees, or any other student financial obligation through the University during the student's first term of enrollment following the end of the first week of that semester. Once all sources of payment have been applied to the student's bursar account, the student may be entitled to a refund from the University due to overpayment for tuition and fees. Missouri State University's third party processing company's practice is to charge a 2.75% convenience fee on payments made with credit card. Additional information about the Missouri State Credit Card Policy can be found at the Bursar's Office FAQ page.
The Confirmation Deposit can be paid with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.
Prospective (new) students to Missouri State University who do not have a BearPass log-in should pay the confirmation deposit with a credit card through the prospective/new student link.
