The 2010 CHHS Multidisciplinary Forum will be held on October 25, 2010 in the PSU Atrium and Theater. This year's title is Disasters and the Role of Health Workers: A Multidisciplinary Response. The forum will focus on the role of health workers following disasters such as the Haiti earthquake and the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
Keynote Address: "Disaster Relief in Post-Earthquake Haiti"
Panel Discussion: "The Diverse Roles of the Humanitarian Assistance Community"
- With representatives from several communities including physical therapy, firefighting, emergency management, and psychiatry.
Displays open 5:00 pm. Booths for optical care, hazardous materials response, the Red Cross, personal preparedness, and more.
