The goal of the Teacher Certification Office is to provide prospective teachers and counselors with accurate and timely information regarding the certification process.  Advisors in our office are required to earn and maintain Master Advisor status at Missouri State University, and strive to provide the highest quality advising available.   Administrative staff in our office are expected to respond to students with kindness and respect, and to provide information without giving students the run-around.

All staff are expected to respond to student email requests for information within 24 hours.  While advisors calendars may fill up quickly during advising and registration seasons, students should expect to be able to meet with an advisor within a few days of making an appointment. 

While the entire staff in the Teacher Certification Office strives to achieve the goals listed above, we understand  there is always room for improvement.  If you have had any interaction with the Teacher Certification Office staff, your feedback is very important to us.  Please complete the Advisement-Assistance survey at the link below to evaluate the service you have received from our office.

INSTRUCTIONS: 

  • THIS SURVEY SHOULD TAKE NO MORE THAN 5-10 MINUTES TO COMPLETE! 
  • Please answer all questions that apply to you, and provide written comments.  Your comments, both positive and constructive are very helpful in our overall evaluation process!
  • Please make sure to indicate who you interacted with in the Teacher Certification Office in your survey.  If your not sure, please write in "I'm not sure".  We do link your responses to each individual staff member as a way to improve our service. 
  • If you have interacted with more than one staff member, you are able to fill out the survey more than once.  To do so, once finished with the survey you will need to clear your temporary internet files so that you can get into the survey again.  To do so, open your web browser and go to Tools, Internet Options.  Under the "general" tab, go to the browsing history section and click "delete".  That will clear your temporary internet files and allow you to access the survey again.
