While individual program deadlines vary, students applying for all post bac and masters level certification programs must have submitted the following materials to register for classes for the following semester:

• Application for Post Baccalaureate Admission and Teacher Certification Transcript Analysis

• Official Transcripts from All colleges and universities attended
• Transcript Analysis fee ($40.00 for the first area, $10.00 for each additional area)

Due to the large number of students interested in pursuing teacher certification through Missouri State each semester, students must have the materials listed above submitted by the following dates in order to begin classes:

Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) Application Deadlines:
The Early Application Deadline for the MAT program is February 15th of each year.  Those who apply by that deadline will receive first consideration for the program.  Applications will then continue to be accepted until the program is full.  The MAT program begins a new cohort each summer.

Special Education Alternative Certification Track (SEACT) Program
The SEACT program is currently transitioning to a "cohort" system where students will be admitted on a set schedule.  Pelase contact Dr. Paris DePaepe for details regarding the changes to the application process and deadlines.
