Gov. Matt Blunt appointed Cathy Smith to the Missouri State University Board of Governors in 2006. She will serve until 2013. Smith, of Trenton, is vice president/secretary of L.E.T., Inc. She holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Missouri State University and master's of education in curriculum and instruction from William Woods University.
