With a focus on human and anatomic functions, the Exercise Biology minor — if paired with one of the undergraduate programs below — will better prepare you to pursue a graduate degree in Exercise Biology.

Some courses may have prerequisites, so meeting with your advisor often is recommended. Completing a degree in a science-related field with a GPA of 3.30 or higher, along with a minor in Exercise Biology, increase your chances of being accepted into an Exercise Science graduate program.
Courses in this minor contain information that will prepare you for Exercise Science graduate coursework. A total of at least 21 hours is required for completion of the Exercise Biology minor.
