The Biomedical Sciences Department at Missouri State combines the fundamental principles of scientific knowledge with applied research. The department focus is on living individuals and the health of the human public, including the study of diseases, immune deficiencies, nutrition and medical testing.

- Apply knowledge of scientific methods with state-of-the-art research equipment
- Publish research related to biomedical sciences with faculty and other students
- Accomplish pre-professional goals with the help of pre-professional advisors
- Learn from clinical courses that simulate work experiences
