Assistantships in the College of Health and Human Services and assistantships in the department of biomedical sciences are designed to supplement a student’s graduate course work.
Graduate assistants in the biomedical sciences department are hired to do the following tasks:
- Teach introductory courses
- Supervise laboratory research
- Participate in research studies
The graduate assistantship application and the three letter of reference forms can be submitted to the biomedical sciences department office, Professional Building, Room 400 or mailed to the following address:

Students who apply for an assistantship for the fall semester will be notified before the August start date. Those who apply for a assistantship for the spring semester will be notified by late November.
