Fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

In order to be considered for all possible financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is available starting in December this year. Complete the FAFSA in time for it to be received by the processor prior to February 1. Applications will be accepted after this date, but funds may be limited. Learn more about the FAFSA.

Apply for Scholarships

The application for General and Department scholarships is available each year around November 1 and the deadline is March 1 for the following academic year. Find out more about scholarship opportunities.

Stay safe

Encourage your student to visit the University Safety and Transportation Services websites to learn about Safe Walk, the Bear Line Shuttle and the Missouri State Alert System.

Stay active

Stress the importance of physical activity. Encourage regularly scheduled times for physical activity. The Campus Recreation Center offers fitness and group exercise, adventure trips, intramural sports, and more than 100 interactive cardio machines.

Healthy for life

Discuss with your student the importance of a healthy life style.
