J. E. Llewellyn is a professor and general graduate advisor in the Department of Religious Studies at Missouri State University. He is a specialist in contemporary Hinduism, about which he has written two books and edited a third. In 2003 and 2004 Dr. Llewellyn was in India with a Fulbright-Hays fellowship doing research on the role of religion in public life in India.
