Learning about Missouri State

At MSU, your son or daughter will find a welcoming and safe environment, excellent academic programs, costs lower than state and national averages, and an award-winning residence life, housing and dining services system.

Visit campus

Encourage your student to visit the Missouri State campus during his or her college search process. Visiting campus is the best way to see if MSU is the right fit. Take time to meet with an advisor and an admissions rep to get your questions answered.

Review admission requirements

Our admission requirements outline our expectations for incoming students, from classes to take in high school to preferred scores on the ACT or SAT test.

Connect with the Family Association

The Family Association at MSU provides a way for families to connect with the University, get their questions answered and find out about campus events.

Attend a family event

Experience campus with your student during one of our great family events held throughout the year. The signature event is the fall's Family Weekend, which includes open houses, a chance to take a MSU class, tickets to athletic events and more.

Become a Partner in Education

If your student decides to attend MSU, you can become a Partner in Education during their freshman year. This program builds a partnership between students, parents and student development staff.
