Favorite thing about Missouri State

The state institutionalized Public Affairs mission defines an educational environment that helps mold students to become better leaders. This environment allows students to learn from real world experiences, understand the ethical dimensions of leadership, be culturally competent, and be engaged in their community. At Missouri State, we prepare students for success by being proactive in teaching valuable skills for their future job outcomes and social conscience.

Best advice for a future student

Get involved on campus! There are so many opportunities that come with joining clubs, fraternity and sororities, pre-professional or professional associations. Those opportunities can include networking, internships, assistantships, jobs, and many other fun perks like trips to regional or national conferences. Additionally, you're meeting new people, maybe stepping outside your comfort zone, and being a part of the Missouri State community.

Why Missouri State?

I found my passion at Missouri State because it offers everything I want my education to be. MSU has great value! It has the advantages of being a large university, like having beautifully updated facilities, large research opportunities, and vast alumni connections. However, the compact campus, the low faculty to student ratio, the over 300 student-run organizations, and the warm welcoming reception by the community, allow many, including myself, to call MSU my home.
