Residence Life, Housing and Dining Services

Students moving in Resident Life Page

Missouri State’s Office of Residence Life, Housing and Dining Services is dedicated to providing beneficial learning opportunities in addition to positive, memorable on-campus living experiences.

Residence halls

There are seven different residence halls where freshmen are eligible to live. These include:

Each residence hall has internet access, basic cable, a small computer lab, a kitchen area if your student wants to cook his or her own meal (or brownies for the new roommate’s birthday), laundry facilities, and study rooms. Nearly all of the amenities needed are housed within the building.

Dining centers

Three dining centers on campus provide several locations for students to grab some food. Blair-Shannon Dining Center connects Blair and Shannon Houses, Garst Dining Center connects Hammons and Hutchens Houses, and the third dining center is located in Kentwood Hall, one of the upper classmen residence halls. Students may eat at any dining center using their BearPass Card and meal plan.

When you come to campus for a tour, you will be able to see our newly renovated residence halls and the dining centers. You and your student will appreciate the outstanding facilities that Missouri State has to offer!
