The Bear CLAW
The Bear CLAW (Center for Learning And Writing) is an interactive space located in Meyer Library that unites resources, faculty, library personnel, computer and information technology, the Writing Center, tutoring services, etc. in an environment that allows for collaborative work and social interaction for Missouri State students. If your student needs some extra assistance in a specific class, the Bear CLAW provides these tools at no cost to you. Additionally, if your student has strong writing or subject-area skills, he or she can apply to be a tutor and earn some extra income while taking classes.
Computer Services Help Desk
The Help Desk assists students and parents with technology questions. The staff members troubleshoot common problems such as how to create an account, resetting forgotten passwords, BearPass Numbers, and printing services. Contact the Help Desk by calling (417)-836-5891.
Disability Resource Center
The Disability Resource Center is committed to providing equal access and opportunity to all campus programs and services for persons with disabilities. Through collaboration and support of the entire campus community, the Disability Resource Center promotes disability pride, self-determination of the student, and universally accessible design principles so that everyone has full access to University life.
Multicultural Services
Multicultural Services celebrates the cultural and ethnic diversity of Missouri State University, Springfield, and the greater world. The Multicultural Resource Center is a location that serves as an academic and social gathering place for many students on campus.
TRiO
TRiO is a federally funded program created to assist qualified students in attending and graduating from college. At Missouri State, we offer both TRiO Upward Bound, a program designed to assist local high school students, and TRiO Student Support Services, which provides academic, financial, and advising help to current students.
