We want to make sure that your students are not only successful in the classroom, but are prepared to enter the working world when they graduate from college.
The Career Center
The staff members at our Career Center are dedicated to providing professional assistance and intervention to both Missouri State students and alumni. The Career Center provides services such as career counseling, help with résumés and interviewing skills, internship and full-time job searches, career development courses, job shadowing opportunities, on-campus job interviews, vocational and education information, so that our students can make insightful decisions about their careers.
The Career Center also hosts a career fair each fall and a career expo each spring, in which more than 125 local, regional, and national employers attend. We encourage students to take advantage of the resources provided by the Career Center early in their college career.
Internship opportunities
Missouri State is home to the state’s largest internship program. Doing an internship can benefit your student in numerous ways. Internships allow students to explore careers interests and to gain valuable experience. Some internships are paid while others are not, and students can often attain college credit for their internship experiences.
Missouri State students have participated in internships locally, regionally, and nationally.
