Recruitment Process
- Round one- Open houses
Friday, September 12, 2008 Arrive at PSU 3:00pm Parties start at 4:00pm
What to Wear
Dress comfortably in jeans or casual skirt, a t-shirt will be provided.
What to Expect
This is your first opportunity to get to know women from all 6 chapters. You will get a tour of all houses and will get to know more about philanthropies that each chapter endorses. You will be talking one on one about high school involvement, summer time activities, and of course Missouri State.
Event Length
Precisely 45 minutes at each chapter house.
· Round two- Skit Day
Saturday, September 13, 2008 Arrive at PSU 1:00pm Parties start at 2:00pm
What to Wear
Business Casual and comfortable shoes
What to Expect
Today is considered to be the day you learn most about the chapters personalities. This day you will see a deeper insight on values and standards through skits and videos. Get Excited!
Round Three-Preference Tea
Sunday, September 14, 2008 Arrive at PSU 1:00pm Parties start at 2:00pm
What to Wear
This is the most formal day of recruitment. A nice dress or skirt would be appropriate for today.
What to expect
Today you will further understand what binds the sisterhood together in each chapter. You will have an insight into their ritual and will experience what it is like to be in that chapter.
· Bid Day
Monday September 15, 2008 Arrive at 5:00pm in PSU Theatre
What to Wear
Be comfortable and come in school clothes. If you receive a bid, that specific chapter will bring you a bid day shirt to wear.
What to Expect
You will be brought into a room with all the other girls that went through recruitment and find your recruitment counselor. Your recruitment counselor will give you an envelope which will hold the beginning of your adventure of fun, friendship, and sisterhood. Everyone will open their envelopes together and then you will be able to leave with your new chapter to celebrate.
