Methods for faculty to discourage and prevent violations of the academic integrity policy. (Presenters: Dr. Tom Tomasi and Dr. Rebecca Swearingen)

Wednesday 10/02/2013 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. PSU Ballroom Get Organized! Students are presented with ideas on how to organize assignments and schedules to avoid academic integrity issues. Assistance will be given on how to utilize apps on your mobile or computing devices. (Presenter: Katie Stinnett and Shauna Barrera)
Wednesday 10/02/2013 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. PSU Ballroom Academic Dishonesty: How You Can Avoid it and Why You Should The panelists in this Academic Integrity session approach the issue through a philosophical lens. Following brief presentations by each panelist, they will address questions from the audience. (Dr. Andrew Johnson, Dr. Eric Sheffield, Dr. Steve Jones, and Dr. Pauline Nugent)

myths about cheating in school and encourage us to do more to create healthy ethical environments that support academic integrity and teach professional integrity and ethics.

Two current inmates at the Medical Center for Federal Prisoners will share stories of how their lives changed forever as a result of decisions they made professionally.

Thursday 10/03/2013 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. PSU Ballroom Integrity at the Improv Students use theater and improvisation to model potential integrity dilemmas. Audience participation and discussion encouraged. (Presenter: Katie Stinnett)
Thursday 10/03/2013 6:00  - 8:00 p.m. Karls Hall 101 Integrity in the Athletic World

This panel includes Women's Volleyball Coach Melissa Stokes, Soccer Coach Jon Leamy, Baseball Player Conner Smith, Volleyball player MJ, and MSU Athletic Director Kyle Moats. The panel will address issues of ethics of the athletic world. The session is moderated by Ned Reynolds.
