Jeremiah Athmer
Chemistry
Jeremiah Athmer is a determined guy: When he wanted a job at Missouri States’ research center, he stood outside a professor’s door for an hour then made a case for why he should be in the lab despite being a freshman. He is now an undergraduate research assistant, helping with studies that use saliva to diagnose migraine and allergic rhinosinusitis (or, in his words, “I look at molecules in peoples’ spit”). more
